The New York Times 2005 article "This Is Your Brain Under Hypnosis"






This New York Times article sheds light on a recent study of the brain that highlights how responsive the brain is to suggestion. According to the report, suggestions can "literally change what people see, hear, feel, and believe to be true." During their experiments, researchers found that the individuals hypnotized saw colors that were not there, lost the ability to make simple decisions, and viewed common English words as "jibberish."
